Building Cycle

Building Cycle - New Construction and Remodels

1. Plans received - shared cloud file created.
2. 3D model for interior and exterior created and submitted for design analysis.
3. Design changes confirmed (normally only site lighting).
4. Photometric plan submitted (including spill reporting).
5. Submittals created and approved.
6. Takeoffs confirmed.
7. Formal project quotation provided.
8. PO submitted.
9. Fixture build commences.
10. Rebate process started.
11. Project bids to GC and EC.
12. Chosen GC and EC contacts confirmed, first contact made by phone and email by EA project manager. Expectations for project established, technical issues discussed.
13. Shared drive access provided for schedule, tracking data, submittals, instruction manuals, warranty info provided.
14. Order released in entirety.
15. Tracking provided for all schedule items.
16. Receipt confirmed for all schedule items.
17. Closeout completed with GC/EC, resolve all open items.
18. Rebate process confirmed.
19. Invoiced project to AP.
20. Closeout completed for project.

Relight

Retrofit - Relighting

1. Site notification provided - shared cloud file created.
2. Site visit for rebate confirmed if not already executed.
3. If necessary - 3D model for interior and exterior created and submitted for design analysis.
4. If necessary - Design changes confirmed (normally only site lighting).
5. If necessary - Photometric plan submitted (including spill reporting).
6. Submittals created and approved.
7. Takeoffs confirmed.
8. Formal project quotation provided.
9. PO submitted.
10. Fixture build commences.
11. Rebate process started.
12. Project bids to EC.
13. Chosen EC contact confirmed, first contact made by phone and email by project manager. Expectations for project established, technical issues discussed.
14. Shared drive access provided for schedule, tracking data, submittals, instruction manuals, warranty info provided.
15. Order released in entirety.

Stocking Options for National Accounts

Retrofits:
-Minimum of 5 stores required to be stocked.
-Shared inventory database to be verified quarterly or upon high activity times.

New Build/Remodel:
-Complete set of extra components provided for each store in a pre-packaged and labeled storage box. Extra bulbs, tubes, drivers, and lenses. Think of it as a store maintenance first-aid-kit. With an agreed upon number of stores per year, fixtures will already be made and ready for release.

Rebate Options: EA Technologies will provide an on-site inspector to verify and submit all rebate information. We will also establish a company matrix of all store fixture information for rebate programs and life cycles.

Process:
1. Verify all existing fixture counts, lamp types and outputs.
2. Verify all replacement item counts, lamp types and outputs.
3. Apply for all instant, prescriptive and custom rebate applications.
4. If additional information is required such as site photos, fixture verifications or other, EA Technologies will identify and submit.

Costs:
• Travel charges based on 21-day advanced purchase (Variable depending on location).
• Daily rate (Flat rate).
• Site Fee (Flat rate).
• Urgency multiplier (% rate) (pre-approval rush jobs).

-If we can do multiple stores in an area it will dramatically reduce costs.
-Billing will occur within store remodel/retrofit.
-New construction is also eligible for rebates in some territories.
-EA Technologies is an authorized Xcel Energy Distributor for their rebate program and has years of expertise in this area completing 1000s of rebated projects.
