New construction housing for use in insulated ceilings can be in direct contact with insulation. Air-tight construction provides energy savings by reducing the flow of air through the ceiling. The housing is labeled for use with Nora 6” sloped line voltage trims and compatible with all LED retrofits.

Details

Sloped ceilings offer a clear path of unobstructed light from a 6/12 pitch (22-1/2 degree) ceiling to any floor or work plane. Airtight housing additionally reduces energy costs by decreasing the flow of air escaping through the ceiling. Rated for direct contact with insulation and adjacent ceiling structures, Nora’s sloped IC housings are easy and quick to install and accept standard down light or adjustable finishing trims. Also available as remodel.

Minimum Clearances: “IC” Housings are direct contact rated; no minimum clearance is required

Pitch: Minimum Pitch: 6/12, Maximum Pitch 12/12 (with designated trim)
Angle: Miminum Angle: 22-1/2°, Maximum Angle: 45° (with designated trim)

Bar Hangers: Bar hangers are adjustable from 13-5/8″ to 24-1/2″ and can be repositioned 90 degrees. Bar hangers are slotted for T-bar installation and include captive nails.
